China Banning Pig Images To Avoid Offending Muslims

Today, one of my classmates was reading a newspaper article. It was about the banning of pig images in china.the reporter reports that the China Central Television (CCTV) is going to ban pig images off the screens of television to avoid offending the 18 million Muslim population. I feel that this is a good way of not offending the muslims but if this carry out in china, maybe the hindus or the buddist religion would want the cow to not be on the television, or the vegetarians would want to take away meats. This method is good but i would not support it.posted at 7:48 PM
