The Princess And The Goblin
Chapter: 28~32
Suddenly, Curdie felt something in the hole which the goblins dug. It was the thread from the princess ring. When Curdie followed the thread, he found the princess in his mother's cottage. The princess Was with his parents. As there was a storm outside, Curdie and his parents were unable to bring the princess home. Hence, the princess had to stay overnight. the next day, Curdie and his mother brought the princess to see her father, the king. Out of the blue, there was a loud rumbling noise. It was the goblins! They were trying to flood the town. Curdie was the only one who knew what was happening and immediately told the king to go up to the mountain with the rest of his kingdom people. The flood lasted for three days and when the water level subsided, Curdie went to the king's wine cellar and found many dead goblin bodies, together with the king and queen goblin's. Hence, with the goblins gone, the kingdom lived happily ever after.
