When the stranger came, things started to go missing. The things in Miss hall's room went missing. The people in the inn suspected that the invisible man was responsible for this. At last, the stranger put up a struggle and gave up. He asked the policeman not to handcuff him. Because of this incident, the stranger attempts to escape. He went back to the inn in Iping to get his things back, but there were investagators investigating the case. Ths invisible man fought them off, took his things and left as swiftly as he came.
