Old Mr Surly
There was a boy named Robert Brown. He wondered how to get a job as his mum is ill and his dad could not find a job. Furthermore, he has five brothers and sisters. So he set of to look for a job. But nobody wanted to hire a kid!. Robert sat down on his front doorstep when he saw Old Mister Surly. He was a very grumpy man. But he suddenly leaned against the wall. He was ill! Robert immediately jumped up and help him. Mister Surly's eyes has gone wrong. He asked Robert to help him into the house. When he entered, he was in shock! It was very messy. Being a kind-hearted boy, he helped Mister Surly clean his house. In return, Mister Surly was actually a very wealthy man. Seeing that Robert was such a great help, he decided to help his family. He gave Robert's father a job at his company, bought tonics for Robert's mother and presents for his brothers and sisters.
